Dogs Trust Ilfracombe Fun Day.

Join Dogs Trust Ilfracombe for its annual Dogs Trust Fun Day!
Activities include a fun dog show, doggy activities, family games, talks and demonstrations, refreshments, craft and trade stalls - plus much more!
Some indoor facilities, so fun whatever the weather!
Entry is £2 per adult, £1 per child (5-16) with under 5s and dogs free. Parking is also free.

 A fun-filled day of activities for all the family with live music, entertainment, arts and crafts and delicious food stalls! Whilst watching the exhilarating Clovelly Cup yacht race across the bay. Free entry to under 16's who come dressed in maritime themed fancy dress costumes. In aid of the sea cadets.

Lobster and Crab Feast is how Clovelly celebrates its famous links to this amazing seafood. It’s a great day out for all the family with live music, cookery demonstartions, tasting events, craft stalls and beer tasting, to name but a few.

North Devon AONB Marathon, Half Marathon – Sunday 27th September 2020.

North Devon is blessed to be situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB), and we are so fortunate to host the fabulous and hugely inspiring North Devon AONB Marathon and Half Marathon run by the North Devon Hospice. Please get involved and help raise money to care for people in uncertain times. If you are up for a challenge these races are known as “one of the toughest” but most beautiful in the country. The races start and finish at the famous Woolacombe beach, there is a beer station along the way and to finish you are rewarded with a Cream Tea! Entry prices for the marathon and half marathon are £37 or £49 with an event t-shirt.

Clovelly Apple Day

Bring a bag of apples, have them pressed at the Visitor Centre, taste the juice, bring more for pasteurisation and bottling. On entry to Clovelly, children can enjoy apple games and crafts, apple bobbing and stomping. They'll be a farmers market plus a fun harvest hunt with spooky stories and animal encounters.

Herring Festival at Clovelly

Clovelly was once a centre for herring fishing, and this popular festival celebrates sustainable fishing and herring, the ‘Silver Darlings’ of the sea. There will be lots of delicious specialties, an exhibition, cookery demonstrations, live music and street entertainment. Mike Smylie, maritime historian, will return with his ‘Kipperland’ exhibition! www.clovelly.co.uk
