The peak season has drawn to a close and what a year it has been. With demand for UK staycations reaching new highs, it has certainly felt like a busy period at Willingcott Valley. Welcoming many new and returning guests to our Woolacombe holiday cottages has been such a privilege for us.

We have worked extra hard to maintain our high standards of service over the past year. It always gives us a great sense of pride in helping families and friends reconnect with our outstanding area of North Devon and enjoy holidays to remember for a long time to come.

Spacious, countryside environment

North Devon is home to some of the best loved beaches in the country. This does mean that large numbers of visitors can head to the area to experience the coastal lifestyle and attractions. If you'd rather avoid the crowds when you are finished exploring for the day, Willingcott Valley will suit your needs perfectly.

Our countryside retreat is only 2 miles from Woolacombe and provides peaceful surroundings to relax and unwind. The recent addition of our new outdoor children's area as well as picnic bench areas have been appreciated by families. Customer feedback has highlighted the advantage of staying in accommodation set in a spacious rural environment.

Outdoor heated swimming pool

The added luxury of an outdoor heated swimming pool at Willingcott Valley is a real asset. In 2021 we introduced our easy-to-use online pool booking system, ensuring safe and fair use of the facility for all guests and residents with a maximum capacity of 12 people per hour. This benefit has clearly been appreciated and is evident as a feature mentioned in online reviews.

"The swimming pool was great. I was originally annoyed as you have to book time slots of an hour as there is a max capacity of 12 per hour. But this actually works great and means it’s not over crowded. It has plenty of slots from 10am to 7pm and was never fully booked. The pool is outside but heated." – Google Review
