Woolacombe Arts & Crafts
Woolacombe and Mortehoe Tourist Information Centre has a charming online shop that can not only provide you with wonderful books and maps on exploring the local area but is a platform for talented local crafts people. You will find handmade glass decorations, soft bobble hats, Christmas cards, 2021 calendars and an array of other seaside gifts.
Wild Coast arts and craft’s gallery are based at the Old School Room in the stunning coastal village of Lee Bay. It showcases original artwork from lino prints, water colours, jewellery and ceramics. Their stunning Christmas baubles are hand painted with different local landscapes and will bring a touch of coastal magic to anyone’s Christmas tree!
The West Country gallery more locally known as Arts, Crafts & Curios is just off Woolacombe’s main high street. The shop offers a treasure trove of stunning original and handmade gifts for those that are “lovers of the coast”. There is a delightful range of coastal gifts, artwork and souvenirs including a surf inspired clothes range. Particularly iconic are the cushions and lampshades that depict local beaches and surfing. Christmas decorations can be found, in store.
Fresh produce from North Devon
Local Farm Box delivers a wide range of quality fresh produce that supports local farmers, growers and producers. Their range includes; vegetables, fruit, salads, meat, fish and dairy products. In addition, they can inspire your weekly dining by delivering all the ingredients you will need for 5 nights. They is even a very thoughtful section on items that have been repurposed to make wonderful presents. For those of you that visit North Devon, I’m sure you will be aware of the stunning village of Mortehoe and the iconic walk around Morte Point. Did you know that the village has a wonderful museum that not only encapsulates all of Mortehoe’s rich heritage but sells local history, wildlife and photography books; maps, souvenirs and jewellery.
